You will be both crew and passenger.  Each one of you will participate in the daily operation, upkeep, management and decision making on the charter.  Your primary roles will rotate daily as you experience being the helmsman, navigator, dinghy driver, sailing master, galley supervisor, engineer, and safety officer.  Your skipper/coach will guide you in how to manage a typical charter, involving everyone in providing the experiences that build your confidence so you can be your own skipper and crew on a future charter!

 

These charters are not classes, but an opportunity for you to practice skills and knowledge that you have obtained in prior sailing or power boat certification courses.  There will be no certifications offered, no studying required nor tests.  Just fun in the sun, on and under the water, on the beach or seeing the sights, in beautiful, even exotic locations!

Note that these trips will require some significant physical activity typical of boating, including pulling lines, climbing steps and ladders, getting in and out of dinghys from both the charter boat and docks, etc.  Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
