Pricing and Schedule

It depends!  On the charter vessel, the destination, the time of year and other details...

Burwell will announce an estimated timeframe for a future trip about 6 months in advance to those people who have expressed an interest in joining us for that type of trip (we'll keep a private database of your preferences).  If you're seriously interested, you should let us know and we'll put you on the "short list" or the "wait list" for that particular trip.  We'll talk about the number of people and cabins, and try to reach a consensus with you on trip dates. vessel and then confirm a price.  For planning purposes, you can use $3000-4000 USD per cabin for a week on board, covering the costs associated with the vessel, taxes, permits, vessel insurance, mooring and docking, on-board provisions, ice, water, pumpout fees, and your skipper/coach.   Fuel will be included when a sailing vessel is chartered, and a fuel allowance will be included with the power cats (actual fuel use will determine the final fuel cost).  We're trying to keep this simple for you.

What's not covered?  Your transportation to/from the charter base, your meals and beverages ashore, adult beverages on board, other shoreside activities and transportation during the charter, and your personal expenses such as trip insurance, souvenirs and medical insurance.

We know we won't be able to satisfy everyone with every trip opportunity, so we have other ways to help you if our Share the Sail trips don't fit your needs and schedule.  Just let us know!

We expect most trips will be with people who know us and/or know each other.  We will try to assemble a group with similar interests and personalities for on-board harmony.  We can talk about special "family only" trips, adults only or adults plus kids if you are interested.

You'll be asked to agree to a set of rules for each charter and to sign a waiver of liability.  We have to do this to protect us and our business.  But we hope you'll become part of our extended nautical family and we'll all act as such.
